Mountain guide since 2023

At the age of 18, I decided to leave competitive sport behind me as a biathlete and so training to become a mountain and ski guide became my next mission in life. At the age of 26, I was able to fulfil this dream and have been able to call myself a state-certified mountain and ski guide ever since, just like my father.

In the beginning, it was mainly ski and alpine tours that captivated me. At the age of 5, I ventured on my first ski tour with my parents, and at the age of 10 I stood on the summit of the Ortler for the first time. After I gave up biathlon, I was allowed to take a look at the world of work as an office worker. Climbing then became my favourite leisure activity. This was mainly because climbing allowed me to clear my head, which for me at the time was the perfect balance to the often stressful office life.

I now find it difficult to decide on a favourite alpine discipline. Whether climbing in the Dolomites, ski touring in the snow-covered mountains of South Tyrol or mountaineering on the roofs of the highest mountains in the Alps - each of these alpine disciplines has its very own charm and makes my heart beat faster.
