    Ascent: From the car park, the trail goes steeply uphill on the right through a. Now follow the summer trail no. 10 to the right through a tall forest. At 1660 m and 1680 m you cross the forest road. Where it becomes steep for a short while, climb diagonally up to the right to reach the path again in a bend. Continue straight on to a fence and across open terrain to the alpine pasture Innere Wumblsalm (1906 m). Above the alpine pasture, turn diagonally right into a saddle to the left of a hill (1960 m). To the left over a ridge into a plain (2060 m). To the right of the ridge until you reach the broad ridge to the left at 2200 m. Cross this to the ridge (2360 m). To the right over two small rises in 10 min. to the summit with cross.

    Descent: as ascent.

    Important! You can also ascend above the alpine pasture Innere Wumblsalm to the Glaitner Joch and then continue along the ridge (west) to the Glaitner Hochjoch.

    Directions

    From the motorway exit A22 in Sterzing/Vipiteno direction west to Stange/Stanghe and Ratschings/Racines. In Stange turn left into the Ratschingstal valley and follow the road towards valley end. At the valley station of the Ratschings-Jaufen skiing area continue towards Flading/Vallettina. As soon as the road drops off, a forest trail starts on the left. This is the starting point of the tour.
